The Blue Hour Documentary chronicles the journey of Bay Area Hip-Hop staple, Rexx Life Raj, as he navigates the life-altering impact of losing both his parents in the span of a few months. Through grief comes growth, as Raj writes, records, and performs his album The Blue Hour, a tribute to his late mother, he finds meaning in the adjustment to this new normal of a life.

TORU, TORU, TORU

How does one reckon with feeling like a foreigner in their own country? A question Toru Saito still wrestles with, close to 80 years after he, his family, and 120,000 other Japanese-Americans were forcibly removed due to Executive Order 9066. Uprooted when United States Army soldiers showed up at his San Francisco home, he and his family were forced on a train to an unknown destination: a crude prison in the blistering Utah desert. Toru Toru Toru explores his relationship to this life-altering experience continues to shape Toru into the enigmatic, jovial beam of light he is today.
